Job Description
As an Invoice Processor, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of invoices. Your role will involve ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, and you will collaborate with various departments to resolve any discrepancies. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and verify invoices and check requests.
- Sort, code, and match invoices.
- Set invoices up for payment.
- Enter and upload invoices into the system.
- Track expenses and process expense reports.
- Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments.
- Reconcile accounts payable transactions.
- Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up-to-date.
- Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues.
- Maintain vendor files.
- Assist with month-end closing.
- Provide supporting documentation for audits.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in accounting or finance a plus.
- Proven working experience as an Invoice Processor or similar role.
- Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable principles.
- Proven ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records.
- Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers.
- Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software.
- Proficiency in MS Office (particularly Excel)
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
