- 5:00pm Responsibilities Manage accounts receivable functions, including invoicing on customer portals, payment processing, and account reconciliation using accounting software QuickBooks.
Monitor aging reports and follow up on overdue accounts through professional client communication and collections account management strategies. Perform data entry and maintain accurate records of all transactions, ensuring compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) requirements. Analyze account discrepancies, and perform account analysis to ensure accuracy of financial data. Collaborate with internal teams on billing software updates, spreadsheet analysis, and Excel data analysis to improve efficiency. Conduct credit analysis for new and existing clients to determine appropriate credit limits and terms. Support month-end closing activities by preparing detailed reports and assisting with account reconciliation tasks. Assist with various Accounts Payable task Requirements Proven experience in accounting or finance roles with a focus on accounts receivable management; experience in public accounting is a plus. Strong knowledge of accounting systems such QuickBooks, or similar financial software. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel formulas, spreadsheets, and data analysis techniques. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to perform efficiently under deadlines. Effective communication skills for client interaction via phone etiquette and professional customer service practices. Strong math skills combined with attention to detail for accurate data entry and account analysis.
