You will assist with data entry, account reconciliations, and financial record management, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality at every step. Responsibilities Enter and maintain accurate financial data using various accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, and Workday. Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice processing and payment tracking. Support general ledger activities by preparing journal entries, performing account analysis, and reconciling balance sheets. Help ensure compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) controls during financial reporting. Conduct routine account reconciliation tasks, including double-entry bookkeeping and ledger reviews, to verify accuracy. Prepare spreadsheets for Excel data analysis, supporting budgeting, financial forecasting, and audit preparations. Handle confidential financial information with professionalism while providing excellent customer service to internal teams. Requirements Demonstrated experience or coursework in accounting or finance; familiarity with public accounting or governmental accounting is a plus. Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, PeopleSoft, or similar systems like ADP, Kronos, Ceridian, UltiPro. Strong technical accounting skills including journal entries, debits & credits, account reconciliation, and balance sheet analysis. Excellent numeracy skills with attention to detail for data entry and spreadsheet management. Knowledge of financial concepts such as budgeting, credit analysis, and account analysis. Ability to handle confidential information discreetly while maintaining high accuracy in all tasks. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
