Job Description

The Vibe We are a fast-moving, slightly caffeinated team doing awesome things, but let's be real our receipts are currently plotting a rebellion in a metaphorical shoebox. We are great at what we do, but we need someone who loves order, gets a genuine thrill when a spreadsheet balances perfectly, and wants a flexible gig without the corporate stuffiness. We work hard, we laugh a lot, and we firmly believe that a clean ledger is a thing of beauty. If you find joy in turning financial chaos into beautifully organized harmony, you are exactly who we are looking for!
What You'll Actually Be Doing Playing Matchmaker:
Reconciling bank and credit card statements so every single penny finds its home. Taming the
Chaos:
Managing AP/AR. You'll make sure we pay our bills on time, and more importantly, that our clients pay us.
QuickBooks Whispering:
Keeping our QuickBooks Online account clean, accurate, and completely up to date. Being the
MVP:
Assisting with payroll and tracking 1099s (because making sure people get paid is kind of a big deal). Spilling the Tea (Financially): Generating monthly P&L and Balance Sheets so we actually know exactly how the business is doing. What You Bring to the
Table The Chops:
2+ years of actual bookkeeping experience. We love ambition, but this isn't a "learn on the job" kind of role.
The Tech:
You know QuickBooks Online like the back of your hand and consider Excel/Sheets a close personal friend.
The Eagle Eye:
You spot a $0.03 discrepancy and simply cannot rest until you find it.
The Vault:
You treat confidential financial info like classified state secrets. Room to Grow Looking for a long-term home? This role starts at 20-26 hours a week, but for the right person, there is a strong opportunity for this to grow into a full-time position over the next year . We are huge fans of cross-training and want to help you expand your skills and evolve right alongside the business.
Why You'll Love It Here Ultimate Flexibility:
Do the work when it makes sense for your life. Night owls and early birds welcome.
Pay:
$18.00 - $24.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 - 26.0 per week
Work Location:
In person
