Bookkeeper

PrideStaff is currently seeking a Bookkeeper to join our team for a client in the Lockport, IL area! You will be responsible for preparing and examining financial records. This is a TEMP to HIRE position. 1st Shift, Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm

Pay Rate:

$18-$22 (DOE)

Responsibilities:

Obtain primary financial data for accounting records Compute and record numerical data Check the accuracy of business transactions Perform data entry and administrative duties

Qualifications:

Previous experience in accounting, finance, or other related fields Fundamental knowledge of GAAP Ability to prioritize and multitask Strong organizational skills Deadline and detail-oriented

Skills and Qualifications:

Previous experience in bookkeeping or other related fields Excellent typing skills Strong communication and organizational skills Reliable and trustworthy - able to maintain confidentiality Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook required Able to read, write, and perform mathematical computations Computer literate, able to type 55+ wpm with a high degree of accuracy If you are interested in this position, please send over your resume to chicagolandwsw@pridestaff.com Benefits of working with
