Shelver / Page White Oak Library District - 3.0 Lockport, IL Job Details Part-time From $15 an hour 12 hours ago Qualifications Computer literacy Full Job Description The White Oak Library District, serving the communities of Crest Hill, Lockport, and Romeoville, Illinois is seeking applicants interested in filling a part time page/shelver position at our Lockport Branch. This part time position equals 15 hours per week and consists of daytime, evening, and weekend shifts. Selected candidate will be expected to shelve all manner of library materials and perform other basic assistance to library staff as assigned. Position reports to the Circulation Supervisor.

Minimum qualifications:

Must be of legal working age in the State of Illinois. Applicants with a high school diploma and/or relevant library experience preferred. Applicants should also have some familiarity with computers and electronic mail and possess the ability to work days, evenings and weekends as assigned. Salary range begins at $15.00 per hour and increases commensurate with performance. The selected candidate will also undergo a 30 day probationary period, during which time they will be expected to demonstrate certain basic competencies that are considered a minimum requirement for carrying out the duties of this position.
