Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and energetic Bookkeeper/Accounting Clerk to join our team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and supporting the overall accounting functions of our organization. Duties Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections. Prepare and record journal entries accurately manually and within an existing accounting system. Perform bank reconciliations and general ledger reconciliations to verify account balances and identify discrepancies Assist with payroll processing. Conduct balance sheet reconciliation and account analysis. Support financial report writing by compiling data for monthly, quarterly, and annual reports. Assist in gathering job information to accurately price out Invoices. Qualifications Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting clerk roles. Solid knowledge of accounting concepts including debits & credits, journal entries, general ledger accounting, and double entry bookkeeping. Familiarity with corporate accounting standards. Experience with payroll processing, bank reconciliation, account reconciliation, and financial report writing. Proficiency in spreadsheets and financial software to analyze data efficiently. Strong attention to detail combined with excellent organizational skills to ensure accuracy in all financial tasks. Ability to interpret financial concepts clearly and work independently within a team environment.
Pay:
$18.00 - $26.00 per hour
