We're actively seeking an Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Specialist to reinforce our finance team and contribute to the needs of our organizational objectives. In the capacity of an AP/AR Specialist, you will occupy a central position in managing a wide array of accounting responsibilities, all the while providing invaluable assistance to our finance division. The ideal candidate for this role will demonstrate knowledge of essential accounting practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage general accounting tasks, including but not limited to, accounts payable, accounts receivable, journal entries, and reconciliations Ensure accuracy and compliance in financial transactions, documentation, and reports Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner Process invoices, expense reports, and purchase orders while maintaining strict adherence to internal controls Collaborate with cross-functional teams to obtain necessary information for accurate financial reporting Maintain a solid understanding of industry trends, regulations, and best practices in accounting and finance
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred, not required Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in AP and AR responsibilities Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt to changing priorities and responsibilities within the department Proficient in Microsoft Office suite Corporate Resources, on behalf of our client located in Schaumburg, IL, is hiring a full-time, permanent Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Specialist. #IND2
