Manufacturing Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage our full-cycle AR process and optimize cash flow. In this role, you will handle high-volume payment processing, lead collections, and provide analysis to protect our bottom line. Prior manufacturing experience and SAP knowledge are highly valued. You will work closely with sales, customer service, and warranty teams to resolve billing discrepancies and keep our ledger accurate. This position reports directly to the GL Chief Accountant. Core Responsibilities

Payment Processing:
Post daily high-volume ACH, check, and credit card payments with high accuracy.

Collections & Risk Mitigation:
Make proactive collection calls to past-due accounts to secure timely payments.
•
Sales Collaboration :
Run weekly overdue reports, present findings to the sales team, and recommend credit holds or lower credit limits.

Financial Analysis :
Perform monthly Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) analysis by customer to identify payment trends and risks.

Ledger Reconciliation :
Balance the AR sub-ledger to the General Ledger (GL) and calculate allowance for doubtful accounts during month-end closing.

Dispute Resolution:
Partner with the Customer Service and Warranty teams to investigate and correct invoicing or credit memo issues. Qualifications & Skills ○
Experience:
3+ years of dedicated Accounts Receivable experience, ideally in a manufacturing environment. ○
Software:
Strong proficiency in SAP (highly preferred) and Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, IF/And functions). ○
Skills:
Proven experience tracking and analyzing DSO metrics and managing credit risk. ○
Communication:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to handle firm collection calls and collaborate across departments. ○
Detail-Oriented:
High accuracy in data entry and matching complex remittances.
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent, Associate's degree in accounting preferable.
