Start Your Accounting Career With Us! We're looking for a detail-oriented, dependable, and motivated Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Paducah, KY. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build a career in accounting. Previous experience is preferred but not required — we're willing to train the right person! You must be ready to work Monday through Friday, from 7:00 AM until 4:00 PM, with a one-hour lunch break. In this role, you'll work closely with our accounting team to ensure invoices are processed accurately, vendors are paid on time, and financial records are maintained properly. This position reports to the Chief Financial Officer.

What You'll Do:

Process, review, and enter vendor invoices Verify invoices and payment information for accuracy Maintain and reconcile vendor accounts and resolve discrepancies Prepare and process vendor payments by check or ACH Match purchase orders, receipts, and other supporting documentation Communicate with vendors and internal team members Assist with other accounting duties as assigned Learn and grow within our accounting processes and systems

What We're Looking For:

Strong attention to detail and accuracy Dependable and organized with a positive attitude High school diploma or equivalent is required; Accounting education is a plus Good communication and problem-solving skills Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel Ability to learn new software and processes Previous Accounts Payable, Bookkeeping, or general accounting experience is preferred, but not required.
