Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Accounts Payable/Accounting Clerk to play a key role in the company's financial operations and administrative functions. This multi-faceted role combines the responsibilities of managing accounts payable processes, various other accounting tasks, and maintaining a well-organized office environment. The ideal candidate should possess strong organizational skills, thorough accounts payable abilities including reconciliation and vendor communication when necessary. Basic understanding/ability regarding other accounting functions is a plus. General office administration, supply purchasing, etc. functions are also duties of the position. Duties Manage the full cycle of accounts payable, including invoice processing, vendor payments, and account reconciliation using our Dealer Management System. Plan an important role on other accounting functions -- accounts receivable, daily sales, payroll support and others. Run various schedules and spreadsheets supporting payroll and other accounting tasks. Conduct account reconciliations regularly to verify accuracy of invoices and statements; analyze discrepancies and resolve issues promptly. Manage office operations including supply procurement, vendor relations, and supporting administrative tasks to ensure a productive work environment. Requirements Proven experience in accounts payable, bookkeeping, or related financial roles. Understanding of GAAP principles and technical accounting concepts such as journal entries, debits & credits, general ledger reconciliation, and analysis skills. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in data entry (10 key typing) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel preferred). Strong communication skills combined with a proactive approach to problem-solving; ability to think and work independently as well as part of a team.
Pay:
$16.00 - $21.00 per hourBenefits:
