As a Billing and Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes. Responsibilities Prepare and submit accurate and timely claims for reimbursement to various payors, including VA, LTC, Private pay, Medicaid, and Medicare Manage and track accounts receivable, ensuring prompt payment and follow-up on outstanding balances Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient billing and accounts receivable Collaborate with our team to resolve billing discrepancies and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements Perform daily, weekly, and monthly financial reporting, as needed Stay up-to-date with changes in billing regulations, laws, and industry standards Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders, including patients, payors, and staff members Requirements At least 5 years of full-time experience as a billing specialist for a non-skilled home care agency Proven expertise in VA, LTC, Private pay, Medicaid, and Medicare billing and accounts receivable management Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to work as part of a team and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher in a related field preferred What We Offer Competitive salary (to be discussed during the interview process) Opportunities for professional growth and development in a dynamic and fast-paced environment Collaborative and supportive team environment Flexible full-time schedule with regular office hours BCBS health insurance weekly pay Retirement benefits with employer match.
