Job Description

Reviews and reconciles assigned ledger accounts and resolves any discrepancies. Provides information and assistance to the external auditors as directed. Codes invoices and processes accounts payable batches and prepares A/P checks. Communicates with the system's accounting department in a timely fashion. Maintains Vendor master. Prepares patient refund checks. Acts as liaison with the HR department. Reconciles the daily census and Resident Trust Fund account. Orders office supplies for the facility. Must be able to work independently and professionally. Must be able to multitask as this person will be interrupted at times to handle other duties.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum High school education or GED. Completed 2 years of business school or 2 years' work experience in Accounting or Bookkeeping department or 2 years of college with some accounting/business classes. Long Term Care preferred.
