Full-Time Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in Northborough, MA. The ideal candidate will have experience managing accounts receivable processes, following up on outstanding invoices, posting payments, and maintaining accurate customer account records. Experience with QuickBooks is a plus, but not required . Responsibilities Process and post customer payments accurately and in a timely manner Prepare and send customer invoices and account statements Monitor outstanding accounts receivable balances and follow up on past-due payments Research and resolve billing discrepancies, payment issues, and customer account questions Reconcile customer accounts and maintain accurate records Apply cash payments and update account information in the accounting system Work with customers and internal departments to resolve payment-related issues Assist with collections efforts as needed Prepare accounts receivable and aging reports Maintain organized and accurate financial documentation Assist with other accounting and administrative duties as needed Qualifications Previous experience in accounts receivable, billing, collections, or a related accounting role Experience with invoicing, payment posting, account reconciliation, and collections QuickBooks experience is a plus Strong attention to detail and accuracy Strong communication and customer service skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently in a fast-paced environment
