Job Description:
Position Overview Seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Senior Finance Associate to join a high-performing finance team. This role offers a dynamic opportunity for professionals with a strong foundation in accounting and audit to transition into a broader finance capacity, supporting financial reporting, analysis, and strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring a strong technical accounting background, experience working with complex financial data, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Key Responsibilities Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with
U.S. GAAP
Support the month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial reporting Assist with the preparation of internal and external reporting packages for senior leadership and stakeholders Analyze financial results and provide insights on key drivers, trends, and variances Support external audits by coordinating with auditors and preparing requested documentation Evaluate and enhance internal controls, processes, and efficiencies across finance operations Contribute to special projects, including system implementations, process improvements, and ad hoc financial analysis Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 2-5+ years of experience in public accounting (Big 4 or large regional firm preferred) or a combination of public accounting and industry experience Strong understanding of financial reporting and technical accounting concepts Experience with audit, financial statement preparation, and internal controls CPA designation (or active progress toward certification) strongly preferred Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with ERP systems is a plus
