Temp to Hire Job #20999 Accounts Payable Specialist About the Role We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join a busy goods and services company in Freeport. This is a great opportunity for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, comfortable working with numbers, and confident using Excel and Microsoft Office. The ideal candidate has previous accounts payable, bookkeeping or accounting support experience and can jump into a fast-paced office environment with minimal hand-holding. Responsibilities Process vendor invoices and ensure accurate coding and approvals Enter and maintain accounts payable information Assist with invoice matching, payment processing, and account reconciliation Research and resolve invoice or payment discrepancies Maintain organized vendor and AP records Communicate with vendors and internal team members regarding payment questions Use Excel to track, organize, and reconcile financial information Provide additional accounting and administrative support as needed What We're Looking For Previous Accounts Payable, Bookkeeping, Accounting Assistant, or similar accounting experience Strong Microsoft Excel skills Comfortable with Microsoft Office programs Strong attention to detail and accuracy Good organizational and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Procore experience is a plus, but not required This is a fully onsite position in Freeport, Maine , working Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM-4:00 PM .

Pay range:
