Job Description

Overview As our Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will play a vital role in our daily financial operations, managing customer accounts, processing payments, and ensuring smooth billing cycles. You will be the friendly and professional point of contact for customer billing inquiries while helping maintain our company's financial health. Key Responsibilities Process incoming customer payments via check, credit card, and online account portals accurately and efficiently. Monitor customer accounts for non-payments, delayed payments, and other irregularities. Communicate professionally with customers via phone and email regarding billing questions, account balances, and payment arrangements. Reconcile accounts receivable ledgers to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted. Assist with daily billing, invoicing, and generation of financial reports. Coordinate closely with management and operations to maintain accurate customer files and credit terms. Provide general administrative and office support as needed. Qualifications & Skills Proven experience in accounts receivable, bookkeeping, or general accounting (1-3 years preferred). High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business is a plus. Strong computer literacy, including proficiency with MS Excel, accounting software, and online databases. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a warm, customer-first attitude. High level of accuracy, strong organizational skills, and strict attention to detail. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial data with integrity.
