Job Description

Who We Are:
Emergent Health Partners operates six ambulance services with over 900 employees across southern
Michigan:
Huron Valley Ambulance, Jackson Community Ambulance, LifeCare Ambulance, Monroe Community, Lenawee Community Ambulance, and Albion Community Ambulance. We are leaders in out-of-hospital emergency medicine and have built a culture based on safety, quality, compassion and professionalism. When you or your loved one needs emergency medical services, Our EMT's and Paramedics will be there. We are always ready to respond with our highly trained medical crews and lifesaving resources. Our Finance Department guides the strategic fiscal health and growth of six regional ambulance services. At EHP, you will gain hands-on experience in financial planning, stewardship, and resource allocation to sustain our lifesaving impact.
Job Duties:
In this role you will:
Process Invoices:
Review, scan, and code all incoming vendor invoices.
Handle Approvals:
Enter and track required invoice approvals.
Make Payments:
Cut and mail checks or process electronic funds transfers (EFT).
Provide Backup:
Assist the Accounts Receivable team when required.
General Duties:
Complete other miscellaneous accounting tasks as assigned.
Required Qualifications Education:
Minimum of an Associate's degree in accounting.
Technical Skills:
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Communication:
Good verbal and written communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Prior experience with Microsoft GP software is a plus, but not required.
