Job Description
Concept Three, Inc., a full-service advertising and marketing agency in Davison, Michigan, is seeking an experienced part-time bookkeeper for a temporary, in-office position. This individual will begin as soon as possible to train alongside our current bookkeeper before assuming the position independently beginning near the end of August. The temporary assignment is expected to continue through approximately December 2026, although the exact end date may vary. The regular schedule will primarily be Tuesdays and Thursdays during daytime business hours, approximately 12-16 hours per week. Primary Responsibilities Create and send customer invoices using QuickBooks Online Enter and process vendor bills Manage routine accounts payable activities Record payments and maintain accurate customer and vendor records Review invoices, billing information and supporting documentation for accuracy Organize financial records and maintain orderly electronic and paper files Communicate with company management regarding billing questions, outstanding items and payment needs Coordinate with the company's outside accounting firm when necessary Assist with routine bookkeeping and administrative accounting tasks Maintain confidentiality when working with company, customer and financial information Payroll is handled by the company's outside accounting firm and is not a responsibility of this position. Qualifications Previous bookkeeping, accounting clerk or accounts payable/accounts receivable experience Experience using QuickBooks Online Experience creating invoices and processing accounts payable Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy Dependable and able to maintain a consistent Tuesday and Thursday schedule Comfortable working independently after the initial training period Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to handle confidential financial information professionally Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel, email and standard office software Experience working with a small business, advertising agency, professional-services company or project-based billing environment is helpful but not required.
