Job Description

We're looking for an organized and driven Accounts Payable Clerk to join our growing team at our company. The Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for processing invoices, reconciling vendor statements, and ensuring accurate, timely payments across the company. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with numbers, thrives on accuracy, and likes working in a fast-paced environment. position will work closely with our Controller and current accountant and other operations personnel and handle day-to-day bookkeeping. We're an energetic company and are looking for a passionate individual to join our organization and revitalize our record keeping and bring more organization to our day to day finances. Accountant Responsibilities & Duties Accounts Payable Reconcile related accounts and prepare monthly journal entries Monthly general ledger analysis and detailed variance reporting Responsible for all general ledger work including journal entries, month end closing and financial statement preparation. Review and reconcile bank statements monthly. Prepare and post adjusting journal entries monthly. Reconcile vendor statements and resolve billing discrepancies Support the Accounting team with special projects as needed Maintain organized, audit-ready AP records and documentation Developed customized reports in Excel for tracking various financial activities. Reorganize and update financial records in Quickbooks for all companies Other duites as assigned Accountant Requirements 2+ years of accounts payable or general accounting experience Accounting degree Expertise with QuickBooks Advanced computer skills in MS Office(EXCEL), accounting software and databases Excellent organizational, problem-solving, project management and communication skills Additional experience in Audit and International accounting Strong attention to detail and accuracy with numbers Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
