Working alongside the Accounting Manager and Financial Leadership, you will help keep our property portfolios running smoothly through balanced reporting, accurate data management, and reliable administrative support.

Responsibilities:
Financial & Property Reconciliations:

Perform bank and card reconciliations, review security deposit escrow accounts, reconcile RealPage data with QuickBooks, and monitor debt cover ratios to keep properties compliant.

Invoicing & Accounts Payable:

Process invoices, check for duplicate or missing entries, allocate charges to appropriate properties, process employee reimbursements, and ensure vendor payments are scheduled accurately.

Resident & Property Accounting:

Process resident move-ins/move-outs, rent rolls, refunds, and late/damage fees. Coordinate with property managers to review cash flow and support collection efforts on past-due balances.

Budgeting & Audit Preparation:

Assist leadership with annual operating budgets, monthly closing procedures, construction draw requests, cost certifications, and preparing files for financial audits.

General Office Support:

Maintain organized electronic records, assist company owners with special projects, troubleshoot software for site managers, and ensure clear, professional communication across teams.

Skills:

Office environment with regular use of standard equipment (computers, scanners, phone systems).

Tasks involve sitting for periods of time, typing, and occasional bending or light movement around the office.

Qualifications:
Education & Experience:

Associate degree in Accounting (or equivalent coursework/experience) along with 2+ years of bookkeeping or general accounting experience in a small business or property management setting.

Software Competency:

Practical experience using QuickBooks, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), and Adobe Acrobat. Ability to comfortably learn and navigate proprietary management software.

Operational Skills:

Skilled in numerical reasoning, data auditing, and navigating complex financial reports down to the finer details.
