Job Description
AP Processor Main Office Overview The Accounts Payable Processor is responsible for timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices and the payment thereof. They will provide support to the organization and our vendors by maintaining vendor records and managing payables to ensure timely and accurate payments. Provide payment status updates and assist the accounts payable team to resolve ad-hoc payments issues as they arise. Job Duties Input a high volume of invoices into multiple computer accounting systems. (Essential) Communicate with vendors regarding payment inquiries, including identifying and resolve erroneous payments and/or duplicate payments. (Essential) Contact past residents and vendors regarding aged outstanding checks. Monitor and resolve returned checks by identifying necessary updates to vendor records and voiding and re-issuing payments as needed. (Essential) Assist Divisional Accountants, Community Managers/RV Resort Managers, and Regional Vice Presidents with vendor inquiries as needed. Other duties as assigned to support the procure to pay process of the organization. Communicate with vendors on the proper method of submitting invoices for payment. Requirements High School Diploma or GED (Required) Associates Degree in Accounting or Business (Preferred) 2 years in High-volume AP processing experience (Required) 6 months in Previous AR (Collections) experience (Preferred) Ability to prioritize and complete tasks by specific deadlines Strong diligence and problem-solving skills Ability to maintain a helpful and cooperative attitude Excellent written and verbal communication skills Must have a valid driver's license Intermediate computer proficiency with the ability to use the Microsoft Office Suite, and cloud-based ERP system.
