Position Summary:

The Bookkeeper records daily financial transactions, maintains financial reports, and ensures the financial integrity of IMF. He/She must always ensure that records are accurate and comply with legal requirements. This is achieved by reconciling a n auditing transactions on a dail y b a ss. Responsibi l p> ites:

  • Maintain company's financial records by recording, classifying, and sum m ariing financia l t ransations
  • Prepare weekly missions' spreadsheets for donor funds and trans f er fuds to mi ssi onariesvia ACH
  • Serve as 403B9 liaison with o ur Admiistrator
  • Reconcile monthly bank statements as well as employee cre dit card tatements
  • Assist in prepar i ng the anual budget
  • Respond to external & internal financial inquiries as well as suport othe r departmets as needed
  • Ensure compliance of all financial documents i n r egard to re leant laws an regulations
  • Prepare payroll and work with 3rd party admi ni strator to enu re timely and accurate payroll
  • Manage incoming donor donations and ensur e timely and accr ate transfer of fuds to missionaries
  • Monitor financial health and keep lea d ership informed o any ke y financial infora tion and/or changes
  • Make bank deposits
  • Proce s s year end W-2's, 199's and tax receipts
  • Perform accou nti ng duties for specifid affiliated ministries
  • Handle money transactions includin cr e dit cards and c h ecks Ot her duties asas signed
Qualifications:
  • BA or BS in Accounting, Fn anc e or Business preferred
  • Experience using Quick Books
  • A minimum of thre years bookkeeping e xpe r ience
  • Must exercise bothdis cretin and c onfidentiality
