View More Jobs Accounts Payable Associate Minneapolis, MN, United States Job Description Mortenson is looking for an Accounts Payable Associate to provide support to internal and external customers by ensuring the accurate and timely processing of accounts payable, including performing various assignments to maintain efficient and effective invoice management.

Responsibilities:

Invoice Processing Review and process incoming invoices with accuracy and completeness according to company policies, internal controls and tax regulations. This includes validating pricing, quantities and PO matching. Ensure proper coding, approvals and processing timeliness of invoices. Assist with processing mass uploads of invoices using Oracle's data load functionality. Investigate and resolve invoice issues, including discrepancies with purchase orders or receiving documents. Research and resolve all past due balances and open credit memos. Supplier Management Maintain supplier records ensuring the accuracy of critical data fields for payment compliance and annual 1099 reporting. Payment Processing Initiating and authorizing payments to vendors in accordance with company policies. Complete the void and returned check analysis. Accounts Payable Close Review Supplier negative balance review. Invoice and supplier hold review. Assist with systems testing and special projects as needed. Participate in department projects and company initiatives as required. Effectively work and build relationships with those of diverse backgrounds and organizational levels

Qualifications:

• $37.21. (Actual range is higher for the following office locations: Denver, CO and Chicago, IL
• 5%, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR
• 10%, Washington, D.C.
• 12.

5%). Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills, and experience, with consideration given to internal equity.
