Job Description

Adecco is assisting a local client recruiting Collections Specialist on Remote Schedule. Job Summary:
The candidate will work as a Collections Specialist focusing on claims follow-up and assisting with more complex accounts within the healthcare revenue cycle. They will be responsible for reviewing accounts, transferring payments accurately, solving routine problems, and assisting with team initiatives and workflow improvements.
Responsibilities:
  • Handles day-to-day tasks independently; seeks guidance for complex work
  • Applies functional knowledge to varied tasks and standard requests
  • Assists with non-standard requests and complex issue resolution
  • Reviews accounts (EOBs/ERAs, payments, adjustments, COB) and communications with insurers
  • Processes payments accurately per established procedures
  • Supports team with complex accounts, escalations, and projects
  • Contributes to SOPs, job aids, and workflow improvements
  • Participates in training, huddles, and root cause analysis
  • Identifies trends, issues, and improvement opportunities
  • Collaborates with leads, offshore teams, and cross-functional partners
  • Organizes and prioritizes work to meet deadlines and production goals
  • Attends workforce calls and supports performance tracking
  • Troubleshoots and follows moderately complex instructions Requirements
  • 1+ year of experience in EPIC.
  • 3+ years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle, including health/medical billing and collections.
  • Intermediate knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook. Preferred

Pay Range:
$20.33 - $20.33 / Hr.
