Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Full Time Bookkeeper to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the company's financial records with precision and efficiency. Your expertise in accounting software and financial concepts will support our operational needs, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and facilitate accurate financial reporting. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional to contribute to a growing organization. Duties Maintain accurate general ledger accounting by recording journal entries and performing account analysis Reconcile bank statements, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger accounts regularly Process payroll using appropriate financial software and ensure compliance with tax regulations Manage accounts payable and receivable functions, including invoice processing and vendor payments Prepare financial reports such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements Assist with budgeting activities and monitor budget variances Ensure adherence to GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and governmental accounting standards Perform month-end closing procedures including account reconciliation and financial statement preparation Handle tax-related documentation and assist with audit preparations as needed Utilize various accounting software including QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, Quicken, and other financial tools Skills Proven experience with bookkeeping, general ledger accounting, and account reconciliation Strong proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks,(required)! Knowledge of GAAP standards and governmental accounting practices Familiarity with double entry bookkeeping, journal entries, debits & credits Ability to perform bank reconciliations and manage accounts payable/receivable efficiently Excellent understanding of financial concepts including budgeting and financial report writing Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy Effective communication skills for collaborating across departments and preparing reports This full-time position is ideal for candidates passionate about maintaining precise financial records within a dynamic organization. Pay:
$22.00 - $25.00 per hour
