Bookkeeper

Description Robert Half is looking for a Bookkeeper for a contract position. The Bookkeeper will handle the financial statements and will also process accounts payable and accounts receivables for several entities. Located in the Roseville, Minnesota area, this Bookkeeper position is a contract opportunity that you do not want to miss.

Responsibilities:

• Outline Accounts Receivable invoices, reviewing payments received, and record deposits
• Maintain accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions
• Develop a well-organized system to account for financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts; define bookkeeping policies and procedures
• Oversee and manage general ledger
• Arrange financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information
• Sustain collections of historical records by organizing documents
• Monitor accounts by balancing entries

• Prior experience working with collections/accounting software
• Previous experience as a Bookkeeper preferred
• Experience with payroll
• Solid understanding of QuickBooks Online
• Expertise in ADP
• Deep understanding of accounts payable
