Job Description
Overview We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This role is crucial for the financial health of our organization, requiring a strong understanding of both corporate and governmental accounting principles. QuickBooks and QuickBooks Online preferred. Duties Manage accounts receivable and ensure timely invoicing and collections. Perform journal entries and maintain accurate financial records. Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly. Prepare balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial reporting. Utilize 10 key typing skills for efficient data entry and transaction processing. Collaborate with other departments to support financial operations and reporting needs. Experience Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role is preferred. Familiarity with governmental accounting practices is a plus. Strong knowledge of corporate accounting principles and practices. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel is essential. QuickBooks and QuickBooks Online preferred. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills are required. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating strong communication skills.
