Job Description
Accounts Receivable Clerk Cornerstone Construction Material is looking for a responsible Accounts Receivable Clerk. You will perform a range of accounting and clerical tasks related to the maintenance and processing of accounts receivable transactions. This role ensures accurate and timely financial recordkeeping, supports month-end closing procedures, and maintains effective communication with customers and internal departments/stakeholders. Accounts Receivable (AR) Generate accurate customer invoices based on sales orders, contracts or timesheets. Send regular payment reminders and account statements to customers Track and apply customer payments to their accounts. Communicate with customers regarding billing questions or disputes. Process customer refunds, credit memos, and adjustments as necessary. General Responsibilities Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes related to AR. Maintain organized records of financial transactions and supporting documentation. Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., purchasing, sales, operations) to resolve issues.
