Associate Professional (AP) - Youth Residential Corenia Harmony Living

Corenia Harmony Living is a newly opened Level III Staff Secure Residential Treatment Facility serving youth ages 10-17 with emotional and behavioral needs. We're building a small, consistent team that shows up for kids every shift. The role. The AP is the on-site leader for the evening program. You will work directly with youth every shift, supervise direct care staff, and keep documentation audit-ready. You report to the Qualified Professional (QP). Lead the 2nd shift milieu: after-school routine, therapeutic activities, family-style dinner, evening programming, and bedtime transition Supervise and coach direct care staff; model de-escalation and hold staff to policy Host Child and Family Team (CFT) meetings Complete Daily Shift Logs, Behavioral Incident logs, Therapeutic Programming Documentation, and MAR observation sections Communicate shift concerns and incidents to the QP promptly Schedule. 2nd shift, 4:00 PM-12:00 AM, full shifts (this is not a drop-in role) Every other weekend, plus a share of holidays No overnights Some morning or afternoon flexibility for CFT meetings Required qualifications. Must meet North Carolina Associate Professional requirements (10A
NCAC 27G .0104
), such as a bachelor's degree in a human services field (psychology, social work, sociology, counseling, or similar). Other qualifying degree and experience combinations will be reviewed. Official diploma and transcripts in hand before hire Experience with youth who have emotional or behavioral challenges Valid NC driver's license; ability to pass criminal background check, sex offender registry check, and reference checks Preferred. Residential treatment or group home experience; experience supervising staff; de-escalation certification. Mandatory paid training - please read. All new hires must complete pre-service training before working with residents, regardless of certifications held elsewhere. Training covers First Aid/CPR, Bloodborne Pathogens, Medication Administration, de-escalation (Prevention and Protection), client rights, and agency policies.
