Job Description
Robert Half client is in need of an Accounts Receivable Specialist for a contract. Ideal skillset will include business-to-business collections, and journal entries. Responsibilities Generating timely and accurate customer invoices on a monthly basisMaintaining accounts receivable records to ensure aging is up to dateVerifying invoices for appropriate documentation prior to paymentMonitoring incoming payments and ensuring they are applied correctlyReconciling accounts receivable ledger with the general ledgerResolving discrepancies between customer payments and invoicesHandling customer inquiries regarding bills or paymentsAssisting with month-end closing activities such as preparing journal entriesDeveloping reports related to accounts receivable activityWorking with other departments to resolve billing issues or disputesEnsuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations related to accounts receivable activities
