Grand Island, NE Schedule:
Monday-Friday Starting Pay:
Up to $17.00/hour, plus commissions and bonuses Turn Your Communication Skills Into a Career Credit Management Services, Inc. is looking for a motivated, dependable Account Associate to join our Grand Island team. If you're comfortable talking with people, enjoy solving problems, and are motivated by goals and earning opportunities, this could be a great fit. Previous collection experience is not required — we'll provide the training and tools you need to be successful. As an Account Associate, you'll work with consumers to resolve past-due accounts, research account information, and help identify payment solutions. This is a fast-paced position where strong communication, persistence, and a positive attitude can make a difference. What You'll Do Communicate with consumers by phone regarding past-due accounts Work with consumers to identify appropriate payment solutions Use research and skip-tracing tools to locate and verify contact information Ask questions and gather information to ensure you're communicating with the correct party Handle questions and objections professionally and confidently Follow established procedures and required scripts when communicating with consumers Accurately update account information and maintain detailed call notes Work toward individual and team performance goals Assist with additional responsibilities as needed What We're Looking For High school diploma or equivalent Strong communication and customer service skills Comfortable talking with people by phone throughout the workday Motivated by goals and performance-based earning opportunities Dependable with a strong work ethic Positive attitude and willingness to learn Basic computer and keyboarding skills Ability to remain professional during challenging conversations Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment Previous call center, customer service, sales, banking, or collections experience is a plus, but not required What We Offer At CMS, your starting wage is only one part of your earning potential.
