$23 - $24 per hour Job Details - We are seeking a dynamic and highly-motivated Accounts Receivable Representative to join our fast-paced marketing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned professional to use their expertise in HIPAA, high volume, insurance contracts, and reimbursement to drive our financial processes forward. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of our accounts receivable functions and ensuring the financial stability of our organization. With a keen eye for detail and a passion for numbers, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our financial health and helping us achieve our strategic goals.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage and oversee all aspects of our accounts receivable function, including invoicing, collections, and reporting. 2. Ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices, credit notes, and payments. 3. Maintain a thorough understanding of insurance contracts and reimbursement procedures, ensuring that all transactions comply with HIPAA regulations. 4. Handle high-volume transactions efficiently, maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. 5. Collaborate with other departments to resolve any discrepancies or issues relating to accounts receivable. 6. Analyze and report on financial status including income statements and exceptions. 7. Identify and implement strategies to reduce the number of delinquent debt accounts. 8. Ensure all transactions are carried out in accordance with company policies and regulations. 9. Maintain and update customer files, including contact information, billing details, and collection activity. 10. Provide excellent customer service, addressing customer inquiries promptly and professionally.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in an Accounts Receivable role, preferably within the marketing industry. 2. Proven experience with HIPAA, high volume transactions, insurance contracts, and reimbursement procedures. 3. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, and the analysis and reporting of financial data. 4. Proficiency in MS Office and relevant accounting software. 5. Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail. 6. Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities. 7. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. 8. The ability to work independently and as part of a team. 9. A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred. 10. Professional certification such as Certified Accounts Receivable Specialist (CARS) is a plus.
