About the Position ELITE Fitness Alliance is looking for an experienced Personal Trainer / Group Fitness Instructor with 10+ years of experience to join our team on a part-time basis. This position is ideal for a seasoned trainer who loves coaching and working with clients, but may be ready to step away from the pressure of constantly finding new clients, marketing themselves, or running their own training business. Perhaps you've owned your own business and are ready for a change. Maybe you're looking to gradually scale back your workload. Or maybe you simply want to train clients without having to worry about building your own book of business. At ELITE, we handle the marketing and client acquisition. You focus on what you do best: coaching, connecting with clients, and helping people get stronger. Responsibilities Lead small-group personal training sessions Provide individual personal training as needed Coach proper exercise technique, movement, and form Provide appropriate exercise modifications and progressions Build strong relationships with clients Create a positive, professional, and welcoming training environment Follow established programming while using your experience and coaching skills to make appropriate adjustments Communicate proactively regarding scheduling, clients, and studio needs Take ownership of your weekly schedule and commitments
Qualifications Required:
10+ years of personal training and/or group fitness experience Experience working independently, in a private studio, or owning your own fitness business Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Reliable and consistently punctual Highly organized and responsible Able to manage and take ownership of your weekly schedule Professional demeanor and strong work ethic Comfortable working with adults, particularly clients age 40+ Ability to confidently coach clients with varying fitness levels and abilities The Ideal Candidate We're looking for someone who is experienced, mature, dependable, and confident in their coaching abilities. You don't need to be someone who is looking to build a huge personal training business. In fact, you may be at a point in your career where you want to work fewer hours, eliminate the stress of finding clients, and simply enjoy training people again. You should be comfortable walking into a session, taking charge, and providing an excellent experience for every client. We're looking for someone who understands that being a great trainer is about more than knowing exercises. It's about showing up, being prepared, communicating well, building trust, and genuinely caring about the people you coach. Why ELITE Fitness Alliance? ELITE Fitness Alliance is a private training studio focused on helping adults 40+ become stronger, healthier, more capable, and confident as they age. We provide the clients, marketing, programming structure, and professional environment. You bring your experience, coaching ability, and personality. This is an opportunity to train without the headaches of running a training business. Part-time position with potential for additional hours based on availability, experience, and fit. If you're an experienced trainer looking for a place where you can focus on coaching rather than chasing clients, we'd love to hear from you.
