This vital role combines administrative support with payroll management, ensuring seamless operations and compliance across our organization. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organized, and possess a strong understanding of payroll systems, accounting principles, and HR processes. Your contributions will directly impact our efficiency, accuracy, and adherence to legal standards, fostering a positive work environment for all team members. Duties Manage weekly payroll processing using ADP ensuring timely and accurate salary disbursements. Enter and verify employee data in ADP and maintain records including but not limited to new hires, terminations, garnishments, etc. Assist all clerks at our locations with any ADP and payroll related items. Manage the timeclocks at each location and any employee issues regarding timeclocks. Submit a monthly report to the employee Union including the hours and pay the invoices. Work closely with clerks at our locations to enroll employees in our 401K program and submit a weekly report and payment to our 401K program. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information while handling payroll tax calculations, labor law compliance issues, and employment records. Assist in downloading weekly reports related to payroll analysis and financial audits. Skills Preferred experience with payroll systems including ADP. Basic understanding of employment & labor law, tax law related to payroll taxes, and compliance regulations governing payroll processing. Excellent data entry skills with high accuracy. Ability to adapt and learn new skills. Skilled in using excel spreadsheets for data analysis, reporting, and record keeping; experience with financial concepts related to payroll management is preferred. Effective communication skills for handling confidential information professionally while collaborating across departments. MUST be bilingual (English / Spanish)
Salary:
$50,000-$60,000 per year, with compensation based on experience and qualifications.
