This role involves managing vehicle costing, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. The ideal candidate will be organized, diligent, and familiar with automotive industry practices, particularly in vehicle costing and accounting procedures. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to the smooth functioning of our office while gaining valuable experience in automotive finance and administration. Responsibilities Maintain accurate financial records related to vehicle sales, purchases, and costing processes. Perform vehicle costing calculations in accordance with established accounting standards. Manage daily bookkeeping tasks including data entry, invoicing, and record reconciliation. Assist with inventory management and ensure all vehicle-related transactions are properly documented. Support administrative duties such as filing, correspondence, and office organization. Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures. Prepare reports related to vehicle costing and other financial activities as needed. Ensure all bookkeeping activities adhere to relevant accounting standards and best practices. Skills Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and standards applicable to automotive transactions. Experience or familiarity with vehicle costing processes within the automotive industry. Proficiency in bookkeeping software and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word). Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail. Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Good communication skills and a professional attitude. Prior experience in an automotive dealership or related field is a plus but not mandatory. This position is ideal for candidates seeking a foundational role in automotive finance or administrative support within a dynamic dealership environment.
Pay:
$22.00 - $26.00 per hour Expected hours: No more than 40.0 per week
