Founded in 1998, UTA focuses on solving lubrication challenges across diverse industrial manufacturing environments through effective and sustainable solutions. Its proprietary, graphite-based solid lubricants are engineered for demanding applications such as ball and roller bearings, conveyor wheels, and conveyor components. Developed and tested by an in-house team of scientists and engineers, Cobra Solid Lubricants™ deliver superior performance compared to conventional grease and oil-based options, especially under extreme temperatures and harsh conditions. UTA's environmentally clean lubricants help extend equipment life and reduce maintenance, supporting reliable operations for industrial customers worldwide. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Bookkeeper role based at Unique Technologies Associates' facility in Avenel, NJ. The Bookkeeper will maintain accurate financial records by recording daily transactions, preparing and posting journal entries, and reconciling bank and credit card accounts. Responsibilities include assisting with the preparation of financial statements, managing accounts payable and accounts receivable, and supporting payroll and expense reporting. The role also involves using accounting software to generate reports, monitor cash flow, and ensure compliance with internal controls and established accounting procedures. The Bookkeeper will collaborate with management to provide timely financial information and support audits and periodic reviews as needed. Qualifications Strong bookkeeping skills, including experience with journal entries (accounting) and general ledger management. Ability to prepare, review, and interpret financial statements and related financial reports. Proficiency with QuickBooks accounting software and basic finance concepts to support day-to-day operations. Attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. Solid numerical and analytical skills, with competency in Microsoft Excel and other office productivity tools. Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is beneficial. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
