Job Description

Job Summary Responsible for processing, coding, transmitting and paying invoices from vendors and contractors. Maintain compliance with financial procedures and policies. Helping Night audit follow proper coding. Access and input account information and appropriate amounts. Receive, match and accurately code purchase orders, invoices and statements. Create and send itemized invoices in a timely manner. Collect deposits and payments from clients, and records cash, checks and credit card transactions. Manage repeat and trade accounts. Find and send past receipts; control and update unpaid invoices. Coordinate contact with collection departments. Assist with month-end, quarterly, and year-end closing reports and procedures. Communicate seamlessly with all departments of the hotel, ensuring that information is followed up on. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information. Check and go over the Night Audit. Ensure proper interactions through attentive, courteous and efficient customer service. Patiently answer all inquiries of our vendors, contractors and employees and assist them in every way possible. Maintain regular and punctual attendance. Comply with all company policies and procedures. Assist department, as needed. Additional duties, as required. Over twelve months of accounting experience; preferably in Hospitality. Knowledge of Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and accounting software systems, preferred. Ability to type proficiently with use of the 10-key. Strong attention to detail. Must be able to communicate in a professional manner with guests and visitors. Basic math skills; and experience with cash handling and advanced accounting procedures. Knowledge of accounting-related Federal and State regulations.

From $20.00 per hour
