Accounting / Administration About the Position Code 4 Private Security is seeking a reliable, organized, and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. This position will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, reconciling accounts, and supporting the company's day-to-day accounting and payroll-related functions. The ideal candidate is dependable, confidential, highly organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where accuracy and meeting deadlines are essential. Key Responsibilities Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records Record and categorize company transactions Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable Process and track vendor invoices and payments Reconcile bank and credit card accounts Review financial transactions for accuracy Assist with payroll reconciliation and payroll-related reporting Maintain organized records of invoices, receipts, payments, and other financial documents Monitor outstanding balances and follow up as needed Assist with monthly and year-end financial reporting Prepare documentation requested by management, accountants, auditors, or other authorized parties Identify discrepancies and communicate financial concerns to management Maintain strict confidentiality of company, employee, payroll, and financial information Assist with additional accounting and administrative duties as assigned Qualifications Previous bookkeeping or accounting experience preferred Experience with accounting or bookkeeping software Knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations Strong Microsoft Excel and computer skills Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Strong organizational and time-management skills Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with management Professional handling of confidential and sensitive financial information Preferred Experience Experience working with ADP, payroll records, QuickBooks, or similar accounting/payroll systems is preferred.
