Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk/Administrative Assistant to join our administrative team. In this multifaceted role, you will be responsible for processing vendor invoices, managing payments, and supporting general administrative functions. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the smooth operation of our branch while supporting various administrative tasks that keep our organization running efficiently. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational and communication skills, strong data input and reviewing skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Responsibilities Process and verify accounts payable transactions ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies. Track purchase orders, verify acknowledgements, and review and batch invoices. Process vendor returns and back charges. Serve as office receptionist. Handle a variety of administrative responsibilities as needed. Requirements Proven experience in accounts payable processing. Prior knowledge of purchase orders, vendor invoicing, vendor returns and back charges. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and PDF editors with willingness to learn TOP and TOP Office programs. Ability to perform data entry accurately and efficiently. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work under pressure independently and as a team. Capable of lifting 15 lbs. Ability to become a Notary Public.
