Mon-Fri In-Office Only Salary:
$55,000/yr + benefits, depending on experience, flexibility for the right candidate
Type:
Temp to Hire Key Responsibilities Manage the full accounts payable cycle: receive, review, code, and enter vendor invoices Match invoices to purchase orders, delivery tickets, and receiving documents Process high?volume material invoices (cement, aggregate, admixtures), fuel, fleet maintenance, parts, and operational expenses Prepare weekly check runs, ACH, and wire payments Reconcile vendor statements and resolve open items, credits, and discrepancies Maintain vendor master files, W?9s, and certificates of insurance Serve as the primary point of contact for vendor inquiries and payment status Support AP process improvements, including digital invoice capture and electronic approval workflows Qualifications 1-3 years of AP, bookkeeping, or related accounting experience Experience in construction, building materials, or transportation industries a plus Comfortable with high transaction volume and weekly deadlines Familiarity with accounting software (Sage, Foundation, Vista, or QuickBooks) Strong Excel skills and willingness to learn new systems Experience with AP automation or document management tools preferred Strong communication skills with vendors, drivers, plant personnel, and office staff Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $55,000.00 - $55,000.00
