Join the team at Audi Great Neck! We're looking for a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Clerk to join our fast-paced dealership team. This role is a great opportunity for someone with automotive accounting experience who enjoys working with vehicle deals, numbers, and day-to-day office operations. Responsibilities Post new and used vehicle deals accurately and ensure all deal paperwork is complete. Verify contracts, purchase orders, trade information, financing, and vehicle pricing for accuracy. Process and reconcile vehicle sales, including cash, finance, lease, dealer trades, and wholesales. Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, deposits, and daily accounting transactions. Maintain vehicle inventory records and assist with inventory reconciliation. Process title and registration paperwork and ensure deals are properly funded. Work closely with Sales, Finance, Service, and Management to resolve deal discrepancies. Assist with month-end reconciliations and accounting reports. Manage general office administration, including office supplies, filing, vendor coordination, and maintaining an organized office. Provide administrative support to dealership management and assist with day-to-day office operations. Maintain accurate and confidential financial and dealership records. Perform other accounting and administrative duties as needed. Qualifications 1-2 years of automotive dealership accounting or administrative experience preferred. Previous experience with posting automotive deals and reviewing deal jackets. Strong understanding of vehicle sales paperwork, funding, trades, and dealership accounting processes. Accounting experience with AP, AR, reconciliations, and deposits. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume dealership environment. Proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Experience with dealership management systems (DMS) such as CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, or Dealertrack is an asset. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating with multiple dealership departments. Professional, dependable, and highly organized.
