Job Summary:
Gotham Ready Mix, LLC is hiring for an Accounts Payable Specialist. The Accounts Payable Specialist will join a team responsible for managing the company's outgoing financial transactions with accuracy and efficiency.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Reconcile monthly vendor statements. Check and enter invoices into system. Match packing slips and invoices. Handle invoice reconciliations and discrepancy investigations. Respond to vendor inquiries and review and reconcile vendor statements. Manage administrative duties for billing department, such as filing and updating records. Perform data entry, including reviewing and scanning. Maintain filing systems as assigned. Answer and transfer phone calls, screening when necessary. Perform other related duties as assigned. Required Skills /
Abilities:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, intermediate skills in Excel Knowledge of QuickBooks. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Basic understanding of clerical procedures and systems such as recordkeeping and filing. Ability to work independently. Ability to maintain confidential information.
