Part-Time Position Overview We are seeking a reliable and experienced Part-Time Bookkeeper to assist with maintaining our company's financial records and keeping our accounting documentation organized. This position will work approximately one day per week and will be responsible for handling incoming financial documents, maintaining QuickBooks, and preparing all necessary records and documentation for our outside accountant. Responsibilities

• Responsible for accurate and timely payroll data entry, including employee hours, wages, deductions, and other payroll-related information. Open, sort, and organize company mail and financial correspondence. Review incoming bills, invoices, statements, checks, and other financial documents. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in QuickBooks. Enter bills, expenses, payments, deposits, and other transactions into QuickBooks. Reconcile bank and credit card accounts as needed. Organize receipts, invoices, bills, statements, and supporting documentation. Maintain organized digital and physical accounting files. Review transactions for accuracy and identify discrepancies or missing documentation. Track outstanding bills and payments. Prepare and organize financial records and supporting documentation for the company's accountant. Assist with month-end and year-end bookkeeping procedures. Communicate with management regarding missing information, unusual transactions, or accounting questions. Maintain confidentiality of all company financial information. Qualifications Prior bookkeeping experience required. QuickBooks experience required, preferably QuickBooks Desktop. Strong understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles. Excellent organizational and attention-to-detail skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong computer and administrative skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Prior experience preparing records for an outside accountant is highly preferred.

Pay:

$200.00 - $500.00 per day
