Accounts Payable (AP) Clerk Superior Healthcare Management - Lynbrook, NY Full-Time | $50,000 per year Join a team dedicated to supporting quality healthcare. Superior Healthcare Management is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable (AP) Clerk to join our finance team in Lynbrook, NY. This full-time position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, has strong attention to detail, and takes pride in maintaining accurate financial records. Position Summary The Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for processing invoices, maintaining vendor accounts, preparing payments, and ensuring timely and accurate financial transactions. The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality. Responsibilities Process vendor invoices accurately and efficiently. Match invoices with purchase orders and receiving documentation. Prepare and process weekly check runs and electronic payments. Reconcile vendor statements and resolve invoice discrepancies. Maintain accurate AP records and filing systems. Communicate with vendors regarding payment status and account inquiries. Assist with month-end closing and account reconciliations. Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures. Support the finance department with additional administrative and accounting tasks as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred. Minimum of 1 year of accounts payable or general accounting experience preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Experience with accounting software is preferred. Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
