Job Description
QUALIFICATIONS
Completion of sixty (60) semester credit hours at a regionally accredited or New York State registered college or university, including or supplemented by six (6) semester credit hours in accounting; OR Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma AND two (2) years of experience which shall have involved maintaining and checking financial accounts or records; OR Four years of experience as listed above
•Civil Service position DUTIES Maintain encumbrances and monitor program budgets. Review departmental reports and documents for accuracy. Process purchase orders and reconcile invoices. Perform clerical duties and other related office tasks. Assist and process personnel paperwork. Provide coverage for other clerk related positions within the department. Order office supplies and materials as needed. Other related duties as assigned by the Director of Facilities

Applicants must have permanent status as a Senior Account Clerk or must meet the qualifications for preapproval for the title through Oneida County Civil Service.
