Senior Bookkeeper Flavour Fields | Riverhead, NY Full Time | On Site Take ownership. Be trusted. Keep things moving. Flavour Fields is looking for an experienced Senior Bookkeeper to work closely with our Office Manager and support key financial and administrative functions across our growing company. This is not just a transactional bookkeeping position. We are looking for someone who can work independently, take full ownership of their responsibilities, exercise sound judgment, recognize when something needs attention, and follow through with limited direction. What You Will Do Oversee Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable activities Maintain accurate financial records, reconciliations, and supporting documentation Identify discrepancies, concerns, trends, and items requiring attention and take appropriate action Support billing, credits, expense reporting, and other bookkeeping and financial activities Help ensure financial controls, approval procedures, and company policies are consistently followed Provide administrative and operational support to the Office Manager and broader organization Take full ownership of assigned responsibilities and projects through completion Anticipate needs, exercise sound judgment, and take appropriate action within the responsibilities of the role Coordinate effectively across departments and adapt to changing company priorities Prepare reports, spreadsheets, business correspondence, and other administrative documentation What We Are Looking For 3+ years of bookkeeping, accounting, office administration, or related experience Strong working knowledge of bookkeeping principles and financial recordkeeping QuickBooks experience required Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational and time management skills Ability to work independently, take ownership, exercise sound judgment, and consistently follow through Fishbowl Inventory experience preferred Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred About Flavour Fields Flavour Fields is a grower and supplier of premium microgreens, edible flowers, specialty greens, and other innovative products serving chefs, distributors, retailers, and foodservice customers.
