Job Description

Accounts Receivable Specialist Location:
Staatsburg, NY Schedule:
Full-Time |
Onsite Salary:
$50,000 We are partnering with a growing organization in the Staatsburg area that is looking to add an Accounts Receivable Specialist to its accounting team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, has strong attention to detail, and takes pride in maintaining accurate financial records.
Key Responsibilities:
Generate and distribute customer invoices accurately and on time Process customer payments, including checks, ACH, wire transfers, and credit card transactions Monitor outstanding accounts and follow up on past-due balances Reconcile customer accounts and resolve billing discrepancies Maintain accurate AR records and customer account information Prepare aging reports and assist with collections efforts Work closely with customers and internal departments to resolve payment issues Assist with month-end close, reporting, and account reconciliations Support other accounting projects as needed
Qualifications:
2+ years of accounts receivable, billing, or related accounting experience Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred Strong Microsoft Excel skills Experience with ERP or accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar) Excellent communication and customer service skills Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities Why Consider This Opportunity?
