GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
The Accounts Receivable Specialist will help support the Revenue group by performing primarily accounts receivables functions for the Firm.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for completing timely and accurate accounts receivable tasks in support of the Firm's financial operations Responsible for preparing and processing daily corporate deposits via check, ACH & wire as required Responsible for generating and distributing monthly and quarterly invoices for Account Executives to forward to clients Responsible for producing and sending monthly aging reports to Account Executives for outstanding invoices to expedite collections Classifying, recording, and maintaining data (e.g., client information, client invoices and cash receipts) within the Firm's ERP system. Establish and maintain relationships with various departments within MAI regarding invoices/cash receipts process Assist with month-end/year-end closing activities Additional assignments as needed
EXPERIENCE/CREDENTIALS
Bachelor's degree in Accounting and/or equivalent experience 1-2 years of experience and knowledge of accounts receivable and general accounting preferred Working knowledge of accounts receivable systems and databases Experience analyzing data and summarizing findings Proficient with Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Outlook, Word, Adobe, PowerPoint Page Break
