Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic finance team as an Accounts Receivable Specialist and become a vital part of our financial operations! In this role, you will manage the full cycle of accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely collection of outstanding balances and maintaining positive client relationships. We are seeking a motivated individual with a keen eye for detail, strong communication skills, and a passion for accounting excellence. Duties Process and monitor incoming payments using accounting software to ensure accurate recording of receivables. Perform account reconciliations to verify outstanding balances and resolve discrepancies efficiently. Manage collections accounts by contacting clients via phone, email, or telemarketing techniques to facilitate prompt payments. Review and Post Daily detailed billing statements and invoices in compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and company policies. Conduct data entry with high accuracy, utilizing Excel formulas and spreadsheets for analysis and reporting purposes. Collaborate with customer service teams to address client inquiries related to billing and payment issues promptly. Assist with month-end closing activities. Skills Strong understanding of accounting concepts such as debits & credits, account analysis, and revenue cycle management. Proficiency in financial software and other accounting systems Excellent Excel data analysis skills, including the use of formulas Effective negotiation skills for collections account management and customer communication. Experience in corporate accounting environments is highly desirable. Exceptional phone etiquette, customer service orientation, and professional demeanor for client interactions.
